Louis Jakub joined Garson DeCorato & Cohen in 2000 and was made a partner in 2004. He is a senior trial attorney, specializing in the defense of complex medical malpractice cases including delays in diagnosing cancer, profound neurological injuries associated with childbirth and wrongful deaths attributed to poor surgical care. Mr. Jakub has successfully defended numerous physicians and hospitals in New York’s most challenging venues.

Mr. Jakub has served as a faculty member for the New York City Bar Center’s Litigation Skills Workshop and is a member of the New York State Medical Defense Bar Association. He has been selected to appear in the 2007 and 2008 editions of Super Lawyers in New York, a comprehensive guide to outstanding attorneys in various areas of practice.
